Somehow, we’ve arrived at Week 10. Feels like just yesterday that Joe Mixon was a Top 10 back, the Browns were going to the AFC Championship, and the 49ers were going to finish 3-13. Alas, here we are. With only 4 weeks to go for most fantasy regular seasons and the trade deadline rapidly approaching, here are 4 players you need to target in all your leagues.
Arguably this season’s premier waiver wire pickup, Chark has been a valuable fantasy commodity all year with Minshew-Mania taking over the NFL. Unfortunately for the entire world, Minshew-Mania has come to an end… but Chark’s output should not diminish much. Foles didn’t get much of an opportunity to showcase his talents Week 1, but he’s still a better QB at this stage of their careers than Gardner Minshew. With Westbrook nursing an injury PFF’s No.11 WR for the year should continue to be a focal point for an offense that should only get better in the latter half of the year.
Odell Beckham Jr
Arguably the biggest disappointment in fantasy football, OBJ has been largely held in check this year. This slow start has soured many owners into thinking he’s nothing more than a flex play this tear. However, his upcoming matchups do offer some potential to rebound, not to mention the fact that he’s already had his bye. With two matchups against the Steelers and two others against the Bengals and Dolphins, Odell will have a favorable schedule to end the season. Add in the fact that Mayfield reportedly plans to start “force feeding” Odell, and it might be wise to scoop up the master of 1 handed catches for a playoff push.
If you follow our Twitter @3CoSports, you know I’ve been singing the praise of Singletary since before the season started. He was on a run-first team in a great situation with the only person ahead of him on the depth chart being the immortal one Frank Gore. While it took a bit longer than I expected, the time has come. He had his coming out party Week 9 to the tune of 20 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown while also catching 3 passes for 45 yards. Meanwhile, Gore was irrelevant. Singletary is about to become a high end RB2 that is going to win people leagues. He should be a priority trade deadline target for all contenders in need of a flex.
Quick, who is the 12th ranked WR in PPR? If you guessed Courtland Sutton, you’re wrong. He’s actually ranked 13th, which is pretty impressive when you consider he’s had Joe Flacco as his QB. Sutton does have 3 difficult matchups coming out of his bye which is why it’s important to temper expectations. However, his playoff schedule is what dreams are made of. Matchups against the Texans, Kansas City, and Detroit await the talented second year WR. With the Broncos turning to Brandon Allen for the rest of the season, Sutton may be attainable at a reasonable price as owners naturally worry about a drop off. Ignore the noise and pick up Sutton for your playoff run and reap the rewards.
