Fantasy Football 2020: Monday Night Football Preview and DFS Props

by Angel Maldonado

If you’ll allow me to be personal for a second, I faced Alex in two leagues this week—our home league and our Experts league— and… it didn’t go too well for me. I got demolished in our home league (I miss you Dak) and I’m down 16 with David Montgomery on my team.  Unfortunately, feel pretty bad about my chances since Montgomery has been locked up lately. Needless to say, I have a lot riding on tonight’s matchup so let’s go ahead and discuss what should be a battle between the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears.

What To Expect From Chicago

David Montgomery, hopefully?

I’m kidding, probably not. The Bears have struggled to move the ball since Nick Foles took over the lack of a run-game is a big reason for that. The Bears are averaging 42 rushing yards per game in their last three. They will look to establish the run, but I don’t see that happening with Aaron Donald around. Expect them to struggle to move the ball but feeding Allen Robinson.

What To Expect From Los Angeles

Look for LA to try and establish the run game.

The committee of Henderson, Akers, and Brown didn’t get a chance to get rolling last week, but I do think they’ll be more successful this week. That being said, look for the Rams to target the Bears with plenty of play-action to Kupp and Woods this week.

Fantasy Star of the Game

Robert Woods. In what has the makings of a defensive battle, Woods will be the one to break free for a touchdown in a signature WR1 performance.
