Fantasy Football 2020: Monday Night Football Preview

Tom Brady. The Giants. While the Giants toil in mediocrity, Brady has seen a career resurgence in Tampa Bay (can we call it a resurgence if he never went downhill?) as he was just named NFC Offensive Player of the Month. He looks to continue his hot-streak without the aid of Chris Godwin.

What To Expect From The Buccaneers

Mike Evans is the WR3 in PPG when Chris Godwin is out (thanks, Bradley). Without the incoming AB or the best WR in fantasy last year, Brady should focus on Evans throughout the night and I expect a monster game from Evans both despite Bradberry’s All-Pro presence lurking in the background. Look for Rob Gronkowski to feast down the seam against an overmatched linebacker group. Scotty Miller has high-end flex appeal in a good matchup in the slot.

In the run game, Fournette and RoJo have flip-flopped fantasy-relevant weeks and I expect that to continue. Look for RoJo to have a strong game tonight as Fournette continues to get the 3rd down touches to salvage his value.

What To Expect From The Giants

If the Giants win this one, I’ll be shocked. The run game will glow through Wayne Gallman tonight as Freeman is out with an injury. The Giants are already averaging a paltry 282.4 YPG and, facing the No.1 defense in the league when it comes to defensive efficiency… things might get ugly. I’m benching all of my Giants not named Evan Engram for this one.

Fantasy Star of the Game

Mike Evans gets one last week to shine before AB and Godwin relegate him to WR3 status.
