Following a pair of exhilarating Thanksgiving day games, this weekend features a full slate of excellent games. Just another thing to be thankful for this NFL season.

Las Vegas at Atlanta
The Raiders have been one of the most underrated teams in the league this season. They’ve beaten the AFC and NFC favorites for the Super Bowl decisively, while showing improvements on both sides of the ball. I think they handle the Falcons rather easily in this one, running the ball down their opponent’s throat and blitzing the crap out of Matt Ryan.
✔ Starts: Derek Carr, Matt Ryan, Todd Gurley, Nelson Agholor, Hayden Hurst
✘ Sits: Henry Ruggs
Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo
The Chargers are a much better team than their record indicates and if they get Austin Ekeler back for this game they could very well put the Bills on upset alert. That of course depends on how well their defense performs, as the Jets managed to move the ball rather well against it last week.
✔ Starts: Austin Ekeler, Zack Moss, Mike Williams, Hunter Henry
✘ Sits: Cole Beasley, Dawson Knox, Devin Singletary, Kalen Ballage
New York Giants at Cincinnati
This game is a lock for “shitshow of the week”. I can’t help but feel like the Giants will find a way to lose to the Joe Burrow-less Bengals.
✔ Starts: Daniel Jones, Gio Bernard, Wayne Gallman, Evan Engram, Darius Slayton
✘ Sits: Tee Higgins, Brandon Allen, Golden Tate, Drew Sample, A.J Green
Tennessee at Indianapolis
Both teams are coming off of huge victories, which will make this division battle even more intriguing. I think Tennessee wins this one with a big Derrick Henry performance.
✔ Starts: Phillip Rivers, Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines, Jonnu Smith, Michael Pittman
✘ Sits: Ryan Tannehill, Corey Davis, Jack Doyle, T.Y Hilton
Cleveland at Jacksonville
The Browns are actually about to be a playoff team. Watch out for the frogs and locusts everyone!
✔ Starts: Jarvis Landry, Austin Hooper, Keelan Cole
✘ Sits: Baker Mayfield, Tyler Eifert, Laviska Shenault
Carolina at Minnesota
It’s the Teddy Bridgewater Bowl! Can the former Louisville star get his revenge on the team that abandoned him for Kirk Cousins following his near career-ending knee injury? My gut feeling says yes.
✔ Starts: Teddy Bridgewater, Mike Davis, Robby Anderson, Irv Smith Jr.
✘ Sits: Kirk Cousins, Ian Thomas, Curtis Samuel
Arizona at New England
The Patriots will need to have a really innovative gameplan if they hope to contain Kyler Murray. I’m liking the Damiere Byrd revenge game as well.
✔ Starts: Cam Newton, Damien Harris, Damier Byrd, Andy Isabella (yup!), Kenyan Drake
✘ Sits: Jakobi Meyers, James White, N’Keal Harry
Miami at New York Jets
If the Jets are to win a game this season then it’s going to have to be this one.
✔ Starts: Frank Gore, Jamison Crowder, Mike Gesicki, Salvon Ahmed, Denzel Mims
✘ Sits: Tua Tagovailoa, Jakeem Grant
Baltimore at Pittsburgh
It’s unclear whether this game will be played or not.
✔ Starts: James Conner, Gus Edwards, Mark Andrews
✘ Sits: Everyone else
New Orleans at Denver
The second start of the Taysom Hill era. Can the Saints offense continue to roll with the gadget player-turned NFL starter? Given Denver’s up-and-down performance this season, I’m leaning towards yes.
✔ Starts: Taysom Hill, Emmanuel Sanders, Jerry Jeudy
✘ Sits: Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Jared Cook
San Francisco at Los Angeles Rams
The Rams seem to be very vulnerable and I like the upset potential of the post bye week 49ers. That being said, this is a game that the Rams should be able to win handily.
✔ Starts: Darrell Henderson, Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel, Jordan Reed
✘ Sits: Nick Mullens, Tevin Coleman, Josh Reynolds, Jared Goff
Kansas City at Tampa Bay (3CoSports Game of the Week)
Are we going to see the good version of the Bucs or the version that showed up in LA last week? Who knows at this point.
✔ Starts: Tom Brady, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Ronald Jones
✘ Sits: Leonard Fournette, Le’Veon Bell
Chicago at Green Bay
It’s looking like Mitchell Trubisky is going to start this game. The Packers are coming off of a tough loss to Indianapolis. They won’t lose this game.
✔ Starts: Aaron Rodgers, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Darnell Mooney, Jimmy Graham
✘ Sits: David Montgomery, Anthony Miller
