We got playoff (fantasy) football this week! With the stakes raised, be sure to double-check all of your lineups and pay eager attention to the advice of your favorite experts this week (including me). One false step could mean the end of your fantasy football season, so be sure to stay ahead of the curve.
Is your fantasy team on the brink of collapse? Well, you can still win some holiday $$$ this year by playing some of the very fun (and very winnable) props offered by monkeyknifefight.com! Denver at Carolina
This game could be a shitshow, with several Panthers out due to Covid-19 and the Broncos in absolute shambles. I’m steering clear of almost everyone in this, except the running backs, who should thrive.
✔ Starts: Mike Davis, Melvin Gordon
✘ Sits: Jerry Jeudy, Robby Anderson, Teddy Bridgewater
Houston at Chicago
If the Bears lose this one they’re essentially out of the NFC playoff picture. Houston has played spoiler this season a few times, but I don’t see it happening this time around.
✔ Starts: Brandin Cooks, Keke Coutee, David Montgomery, Cole Kmet
✘ Sits: David Johnson, Darnell Mooney
Dallas at Cincinnati
Can we skip this one?
✔ Starts: Andy Dalton (revenge game), Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins
✘ Sits: Brandon Allen, Gio Bernard
Tennessee at Jacksonville
The Jags are leaning heavily into this tank. The Titans are entering the stretch of the season where Derrick Henry goes full Super Saiyan. You can do the math here.
✔ Starts: Ryan Tannehill, Jonnu Smith, Corey Davis
✘ Sits: Mike Glennon, Laviska Shenault
Kansas City at Miami
This will be a big test for Miami on both sides of the ball, as they could very well find themselves facing Kansas City in the playoffs. Expect a physical game from the Dolphins, who will look to limit big plays by the Chiefs.
✔ Starts: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Jakeem Grant
✘ Sits: Le’Veon Bell, Sammy Watkins
Arizona at New York Giants
This feels like a must-win for both sides. Arizona is by far the better team but New York plays tough. I’m expecting a bounce-back for Arizona’s offense though.
✔ Starts: Christian Kirk, Wayne Gallman, Evan Engram
✘ Sits: Chase Edmonds, Sterling Sheperd, Darius Slayton
Minnesota at Tampa Bay (3CoSports Game of the Week)
The Vikings are somehow alive in the NFC Wild Card race. Tampa Bay has proven to be exploitable, but Minnesota has as well. This game should come down to the quarterback play.
✔ Starts: Tom Brady, Ronald Jones, Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Justin Jefferson
✘ Sits: Kirk Cousins, Kyle Rudolph
Indianapolis at Las Vegas
The winner of this game will be punching their ticket to a Wild Card berth barring some unforeseen turn of events in the games that follow. Expect a hard-hitting, run-heavy battle.
✔ Starts: Philip Rivers, Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman, Hunter Renfrow
✘ Sits: Derek Carr, Henry Ruggs, Nyheim Hines
New York Jets at Seattle
Seattle couldn’t possibly lose to the Giants and Jets in back-to-back weeks, right?
✔ Starts: Sam Darnold, Jamison Crowder, Chris Carson
✘ Sits: Ty Johnson, Will Dissly
Green Bay at Detroit
Something tells me that the Packers might kill the Lions this week. I’m stacking Green Bay all week.
✔ Starts: Aaron Rodgers, Jamaal Williams, MVS, Robert Tonyan, D’Andre Swift, T.J Hockenson
✘ Sits: Marvin Jones, Adrian Peterson
Atlanta at Los Angeles Chargers
It will be interesting to see how Justin Herbert bounces back from a deflating 45-0 loss to the Patriots last weekend. Atlanta has been pretty formidable lately so watch out for what looks like an easy game on paper.
✔ Starts: Justin Herbert, Mike Williams, Calvin Ridley, Hayden Hurst, Todd Gurley
✘ Sits: Matt Ryan, Joshua Kelley
New Orleans at Philadelphia
Can Taysom Hill make it 4-0 this week? It’s hard to know what we can expect from Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense, but I’m fairly confident that the Saints can prevail in this one.
✔ Starts: Taysom Hill, Latavius Murray, Jalen Reagor, Dallas Goedert
✘ Sits: Jalen Hurts, Travis Fulgham, Jared Cook
Washington at San Francisco
Washington somehow managed to beat the previously undefeated Steelers last week. This team may be better than we gave them credit for, so watch out for them this week against San Francisco.
✔ Starts: J.D McKissic, Raheem Mostert, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Jordan Reed
✘ Sits: Logan Thomas, Peyton Barber
Pittsburgh at Buffalo
Get your popcorn out people! You’ll be seeing this game again in the second week of the playoffs, I guarantee it.
✔ Starts: Devin Singletary, James Conner, Chase Claypool
✘ Sits: Josh Allen, Gabriel Davis, Dawson Knox, Eric Ebron
